Position Overview: As the Development Team Lead for the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), you will lead a team of technical professionals, ensuring high-quality project execution and fostering a collaborative work environment. Your role will require strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to mentor team members to drive technical excellence and achieve project goals.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead the team by setting clear expectations, goals, and objectives.
- Motivate and inspire team members for optimal performance and maintain a positive work culture.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and promote professional growth and competency within the team.
- Set clear technical objectives and monitor progress to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of deliverables.
- Take on various roles and responsibilities within the organization as needed.
Requirements Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and customers to define requirements, objectives, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate closely with the operations team for deployment and development-related support.
- Plan product release milestones, allocate resources, and coordinate tasks to meet release timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor sprint/release progress, identify risks or bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality and efficiency of deliverables.
- Serve as the point of escalation for issues related to services provided.
Technical Expertise and Problem-solving:
- Use strong technical knowledge to guide the team in resolving complex technical issues.
- Provide architectural guidance, design input, and technical recommendations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and share this knowledge with the team.
- Collaborate with other technical leaders or teams to address cross-functional technical dependencies.
- Lead efforts to define architecture standards aligned with business goals, IT strategy, and enterprise architecture visions.
- Drive the execution of business requirements, including research, analysis, design, proposal, and solution delivery.
Performance Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Monitor individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback, recognition, and mentoring.
- Identify training and development needs within the team and facilitate relevant learning opportunities.
- Address conflicts or challenges within the team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Communicate technical updates, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to foster trust and effective communication.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., computer science, information technology, business informatics).
- Proven experience in a technical leadership or supervisory role, preferably within a similar industry.
- Strong technical expertise in relevant technologies and tools, including:
- Teamcenter client customization using Java, J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Velocity, Web-Services (SOAP and REST), Python, Shell, and PowerShell.
- Active Integration Gateway (AIG) Architecture.
- Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics (TcRA).
- ITK Server Side Coding using C & C++.
- Digitalizing processes in ALM and PLM.
- Integration of ALM/PLM tools, with or without Middleware.
- Data migration, transformation, and cleaning.
- Teamcenter Configuration and Administration.
- SOA-based Dispatcher Module Configuration & Customization.
- Engineering and Manufacturing Bills of Material (eBOM, mBOM), Bill of Resources (BoR), Bill of Process (BoP).
- Change Management Business Process in Teamcenter (CMII).
- Siemens PLM NX Connected products.
- Agile SCRUM framework and SAFe methodology.
- Mentor Expedition & Mentor Capital integration with Teamcenter.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical device, aerospace).
- Familiarity with DEVOPS, IT security, and ITSM requirements.
- Availability for on-call emergency situations.
