Role Overview:
As a Master Data Analyst with our Finance Services business in Bangalore, India, you will report to the Accounting and Reporting Manager – Accounts Receivable. Your primary responsibilities include supporting accounts receivable and/or credit activities in alignment with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. This involves managing and analyzing accounts receivable data to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain customer data records in the database, including contact details, addresses, billing information, credit limits, etc.
- Conduct regular data audits and validations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of customer data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate customer data across various systems and platforms.
- Generate reports and provide insights on customer data metrics, trends, and patterns to support decision-making processes.
- Identify areas for process improvement related to customer data management and implement solutions to enhance data quality, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Develop and deliver training materials and documentation related to customer data management processes and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 0 to 1 years of experience in Order to Cash process [O2C], covering Customer Master Data, reconciliation, collection management, reporting, and accounting.
- Flexible to work in any shift timings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
