What You Will Do

• Implement, configure, maintain, and ensure performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems.
• Design databases, troubleshoot issues, optimize queries, fine-tune performance, and monitor system health to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Work with platform databases in AWS or Azure.
• Manage and tune databases for applications such as Teamcenter, Opcenter, and Polarion.
• Work regular and afternoon shifts in India.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in MS SQL Server Administration.
• Proficient in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Experience working with Windows Server, including Active Directory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive personality.
• Ability to organize and plan work independently and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to manage blocking issues and identify problematic SQL code (stored procedures).
• Proficient in Transact SQL.
• Skilled in identifying SQL performance issues and suggesting improvements.
