Job Summary:
The role requires 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Solution Manager (SOLMAN) Consultant, focusing on implementing SAP Solution Manager monitoring capabilities on S/4HANA. Responsibilities include requirement gathering with GAP analysis, designing future state operations for SAP Technical Monitoring, Interface Monitoring, and Business Process Monitoring. The ideal candidate should be adept at understanding gap analysis and preparing mitigation plans, implementing industry best practices for S/4HANA with monitoring infrastructure for performance optimization, and configuring Solution Manager with ChaRM, Technical Monitoring, and system monitoring with alert configurations. Collaboration with internal partners, documentation preparation, and training operations teams on support capabilities are also key aspects of the role. Technical knowledge around all Solution Manager applications such as ChaRM, Monitoring, Business Process Management, Project Management, License Management, Testing, and integration with testing software is essential. Customizing SOLMAN monitoring templates for different SAP systems and troubleshooting alerts while adjusting thresholds accordingly are also part of the responsibilities.
