Vestas Power Solutions is the R&D arm of Vestas, dedicated to innovating, developing, and continuously improving products and technologies to reduce the cost of energy and provide maximum value to our customers and the company. Within the Vestas Power Solutions business unit, the Control Hardware Module department focuses on designing and developing Low Voltage control panels and control systems across various sections of Wind Turbines.

If so, we’re looking for Engineers like you to join our software department.

Responsibilities:

Work as part of a team to engineer solutions for our Turbine Control Software product portfolio, contributing to its expansion and the creation of new products.
Address reported issues from the field, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and problem solve for turbines in operation.
Provide support to the global service technical team to ensure the smooth operation of our turbine fleet.
Collaborate with the sales organization to address new solution requirements and participate in technology development.
Balance engineering solutions to meet various specific requirements, including addressing issues specific to personal systems in turbines.
Verify solutions on all levels, including software tests (in-house) and field verification.
Document and present work precisely to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Development experience with C++.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python & SQL.
Experience in Control systems using MATLAB Simulink (non-mandatory).
Understanding of Continuous Integration solutions such as Git, Jenkins, and the Atlassian suite.
Education Qualification: B. Tech / B.E / MTech / ME – CSE, ECE, EEE.
