About the Role:
As a Data Analyst within the Digital & Analytics team at Swiss Re in Bangalore, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering impactful solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal auditing processes. This position offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in technology and analytics within an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate Group Internal Audit (GIA) requirements into comprehensive solutions utilizing existing applications, reporting, and automation technologies.
- Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to provide ongoing support, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with Swiss Re’s internal technology policies.
About the Team:
The Group Internal Audit (GIA) team provides independent assurance to safeguard the organization’s assets, reputation, and sustainability. By assessing internal control systems, GIA aims to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
About You:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Proven experience in analyzing significant volumes of data.
- Track record of delivering technology solutions to meet business requirements and providing support for those solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL, at least one programming language (e.g., Python), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau/Power BI).
- Strong interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., scrum).
- Preferred: Experience with robotic process automation and working with internal audit or assurance providers.

- Critical thinker capable of understanding overarching themes, generating innovative solutions, and making recommendations in complex situations.
