As an Inbound Area Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze work forecasts to determine productivity requirements and meet overall building objectives.
- Collaborate with other Area Managers to balance labor and ensure efficient shift operations.
- Champion safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance for a safe work environment.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and implement Lean tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience at Amazon (blue badge/FTE).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, or transportation logistics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques.
- Proficiency in Excel.
Other Requirements:
- Direct management experience with a focus on employee performance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts.
