Summary:
Apple is seeking Software Engineers to join the Advertising Platforms team. This team focuses on enabling promotion and monetization for publishers through advertising in Apple News, and for iOS app developers through Search Ads in the App Store. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting and implementing engineering solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and user privacy.

Key Qualifications:

4+ years of experience testing highly available, low latency, web-scale, distributed systems.
Strong passion for product quality and identifying hard-to-find scenarios and bugs.
Experience in QA for highly scalable, distributed, and high-performance platforms.
Proficiency in functional and performance testing.
Excellent knowledge of QA automation methodologies, processes, and tools.
Experience building test automation frameworks and conducting business use-case testing.
Proficiency in Continuous Integration/Delivery systems.
Familiarity with application servers (e.g., Tomcat), web technologies (e.g., Spring, JSP, HTTP), Git, Docker, Kafka, Cassandra, and Hadoop.
Prior experience in the internet advertising industry is advantageous.

Description:
The Software Engineer in Test will validate features for large-scale, web-based, distributed systems in an Agile and Continuous Integration/Delivery environment. Responsibilities include designing and developing test automation frameworks and tools, as well as improving system performance, reliability, scalability, and resilience. Collaboration with multi-functional teams is essential for delivering a wide range of features across various Apple groups.
