Job Title: Analyst/Executive, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Analyst/Executive to join our Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) team. As part of this dynamic team, you will collaborate with international KPMG teams and clients to execute projects efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting various due diligence checks and research activities to assess reputation, regulatory compliance, and jurisdictional risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Integrity Due Diligence, Counterparty Due Diligence, and Senior Management Due Diligence checks to support clients in risk assessment.
  • Conduct thorough research using diverse online sources, including commercial registries and corporate databases across multiple countries and languages.
  • Translate and summarize information from foreign languages into clear and accurate English reports.
  • Synthesize research findings to deliver timely and relevant reports to clients within specified deadlines.

Job Requirements:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proficient in secondary research methods.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and corporate structures, including complex ownership structures.
  • Familiarity with OFAC, negative news screening databases (e.g., LexisNexis, World Check, Dow Jones), and corporate registries.
  • Ability to translate and summarize information accurately from foreign languages to English.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • 0-1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in professional services firms or internal research/strategy teams.
  • Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Resilience to overcome challenges and achieve team goals.
  • Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service and building trust with colleagues and clients.
  • Personal drive and positive work ethic, particularly in fast-paced and demanding environments.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different engagement types, working hours, and locations.
  • Proficiency in a foreign language is an advantage.
