Job Description:
As a Software & Application Development Engineer at Tata Communications, you will be responsible for:
- Developing/Enhancing Automation code using Spring Boot.
- Constructing reusable components/methods/functions for future utilization.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Writing effective and scalable code/test cases.
- Debugging and deploying applications.
- Providing support for the production environment.
- Preparing the software development calendar.
- Creating reports and dashboards on project time deviations, rework time, etc.
- Conducting development testing and reporting testing issues to the supervisor.
- Identifying and tracking bugs, assessing the nature of bugs, and executing corrective actions.
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of C, C++, Java, and database configurations.
- Experience with any RDBMS database, with a preference for Postgres SQL.
- Proficiency throughout the SDLC life cycle.
- Understanding of data structures for analytical problem-solving.
- Working knowledge of Automation service provisioning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Excellent and collaborative attitude.
