About the Role:
As a Cash Applications Associate, you will play a crucial role in our finance operations, ensuring accurate application of cash to open invoices, handling unapplied and unidentified cash, and resolving cash application queries. Your responsibilities will include daily cash and bank reconciliation, collaborating with stakeholders and customers to enhance their experience, and contributing to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Download bank statements and reconcile cash transactions.
  • Apply cash to open invoices based on remittance advice and logical matching criteria.
  • Address unapplied cash and unidentified cash, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Manage cash application queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform daily cash and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to resolve issues and enhance customer experience.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by senior management, demonstrating adaptability and willingness to learn.
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain exceptional organizational and communication skills to facilitate smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 0 to 1 years of experience in Accounting/Customer to Cash operations.
  • Experience in Accounts Receivables within a multi-company, multi-currency environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, with knowledge of applicable AR systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exposure to change management processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to a hybrid work model and take advantage of flexible work arrangements.
