Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Visual Merchandiser to join our team at Metro Retail Pvt. Ltd. Based in Howrah, West Bengal. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative visual merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and drive customer engagement.

Skills Required:

1. Innovation and Creativity: Ability to develop innovative visual merchandising strategies to enhance product presentation and attract customers.
2. Process Orientation: Strong understanding of visual merchandising processes and ability to implement efficient workflows.
3. Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of retail products and their market positioning.
4. Vendor Relationship Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of visual merchandising materials.
5. Visual Merchandising Strategy: Proficiency in developing and executing visual merchandising plans aligned with the brand’s overall marketing strategy.
6. Store Layout and Fixtures: Knowledge of store layout principles and experience in designing and implementing effective fixture arrangements.
7. Budget Management: Experience in managing visual merchandising budgets effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
8. Aesthetic Sense: Keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail to create visually appealing displays.
9. Photoshop/Adobe/CAD Proficiency: Proficient in design software such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or CAD to create mock-ups and visual presentations.
10. Performance Metrics: Candidates who have demonstrated contributions to an increase in conversions and average ticket value through effective visual merchandising efforts.
11. Adaptability: Ability to adapt visual merchandising initiatives to regional preferences and cultural nuances.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Design or Fashion Technology.
• 2-4 years of experience in the retail industry, preferably in visual merchandising roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 1+ years of work experience with Adobe Photoshop.
